The history of our farm and business – then and now
Our farm is family owned since the year 1962 – that is already a long time. Therefore, we are particularly proud that today we still continue traditions and live the customs of our area.
What makes a vacation at the Maurachhof so special?
- At our farm and in the surrounding nature you can enjoy the environment with all your senses and finally switch off from everyday life. This is good for body and mind! For children as well as adults.
- In the morning our freshly baked bread is already waiting for you – but what makes it even tastier is when you prepare it yourself! We will show you how.
- In our farm and herb garden we will show you the most diverse delicacies, what can be made from them and how to enjoy them. Fresh from the garden – this is pure life.
- Depending on the season, we celebrate different customs or traditions at the Salzburger Land – be here with us live! We initiate you into the old and the new.

Our farm has been family owned for many decades. Farming: grassland farm with suckler cow husbandry. Area: 22 ha (16 ha agricultural, 6 ha forest)
12 mother cows, 1 Noriker mare, 3 ponies and many petting animals such as rabbits, cats, ducks, chickens, dwarf goats, pigs, guinea pigs, sheep and more.
Own consumption or for our guests such as: fresh pastries, jams, fruit juices and fruit syrup, wood oven bread, bacon, cakes, eggs & meat.
